IN WHICH ✶ — Rumors about Y/n pursuing a Zerobaseone member backstage at music bank start floating around the media after she and ZB1 member, Kim Gyuvin are seen talking behind in one of the episodes of ‘Eunchaes Star Diary’. Some netizens believe it and some don’t, some hated her for touching his shoulder and some didn’t care. Y/n went live to debunk the rumors, saying she wasn’t interested in a relationship at the time. The thing was, the rumors were true. She secretly was pursing Kim Gyuvin, or at least she wanted to. Ever since she first saw him backstage at M Countdown when ‘Love Killa’ team got to perform she was starstruck. She saw him at the vending machine and wished him luck in ‘Boys Planet’. She actually never had watched an episode of the survival show at all, she said it would be too painful for her, but that was the night she started to watch and most importantly, vote for Kim Gyuvin.

Gyuvin was acting a little odd and jumpy during the car ride, it was hard to miss…

When their knees would accidentally touch each other and he’d get all tense. Normally the touch of the other didn’t bother the boy but he just couldn’t stop thinking about the fact that he was minutes away from confessing to her.

“Thank you.” Y/n thanked the staff that drove them to the dorms. “Thank you, Hyung. I’ll see you soon.” Gyuvin said as he opened the door to his left, scooting out of the car, Y/n doing the same.

“I was looking at the menu in the car—and looking at how cute these are!” Y/n shoved the phone in the boys face as they stood waiting for the elevator to get to the lobby. “What should we get? I’m kind of in the mood for cookies—oo maybe brownies? I’m supposed to watch my sugar intake though…” Y/n went to scrolling on her phone, only looking up when she heard the elevator ding.

“Are you good?” Y/n asked, noticing the silence from Gyuvin. “Yeah, I’m good!” He was just nervous.

“Let’s just get whatever, no one has to know.” Gyuvin asked with a mischievous look on his face. “You’re a troublemaker.” Y/n chuckled, pressing the floor button.

“Oo, imagine we did “trouble maker” for a special stage? That’d get the fans mad.” Y/n laughed, thinking about how viral they’d go.

“Oh, Hi, Taerae-ssi!” Y/n waved to the older man as he was seen leaving the dormitory, “Oh, Hi, Y/n! I’m going to meet Junhyeon!” Taerae said as he hugged the girl. “Have fun, tell him I say hi.” The two said goodbye as they walked into the shared dorms.

“Finally, time to lay down and rest!” Y/n said as she flopped onto the couch. “Are any of the boys here? We should order something for them.”

“I know Gunwook’s home, he’s definitely sleeping. The rest are out but let’s just order extra cookies for them.” Gyuvin sat next to the girl’s legs, soon enough she rested them over his thighs. Gyuvin once again tensed up at her touch.

“Okay so, I got matcha macarons, and the mini red velvet cake—oh! and also two batches of cookies! Put what you want.” She handed Gyuvin her phone.

“Gyuvin, are you sure you’re okay? You keep tensing up, what’s wrong?” Y/n sat up, her back against the arm of the couch.

“Nothing’s wrong.” Gyuvin chuckled. “I’m not dumb, Gyu.” Y/n playfully rolled her eyes. “I can tell when something’s up.”

“Ah—It’s just.” Gyuvin tried to find excuses, he didn’t plan on confessing this early into their hangout. “Can I be real with you?” Gyuvin asked, which was a stupid question…he himself doesn’t know why he asked that.

“Of course, always.” Y/n smiled.

“I—I really like you, like a lot and recently you just make me so nervous.” Gyuvin paused here and there, letting out awkward chuckles.

Y/n giggled. “Gyuvin, you do know I've had the biggest crush on you, right? Why were you so nervous to tell me?” Y/n’s legs were now criss-, closer to Gyuvin.

“I just—MyungJae, I was so jealous of him and when I acted like that I didn’t know whether you still liked me or not.” He spoke the truth about his feelings towards the situation.

“To be honest, I thought I was just annoying you so I backed off.” She chuckled. “You never annoy me, I was just being stupid.” He boldly grabbed the girl's hand.

“I really like you a lot, and I promise you that you will never and have never annoyed me.”

“Don’t speak so soon.” Y/n teased. “So what, what are we?” Y/n asked, staring at the eyes that were staring back at her.

“Whatever you want us to be.”

“Ugh, you know I hate making decisions.” Y/n groaned. “Okay, how about—we’ll see how it goes. Clearly we’ve liked each other for a while, everyone knows there’s something…” Y/n giggled at that. “How about, no clear labels. We just enjoy it in private—well clearly our members and friends will know.”

“I’m fine with that, but if another idol tries flirting with you I’ll go crazy.” She laughed.

“Don’t worry, you’re all I think about.”

“I hope so.” Y/n pecked Gyuvin’s cheek, which was now flushed red.

If I keep on talking now, I'll only start repeating myself and all I can say is

If I slip and tip my hand, I'm certain to scare you away, then what would I say?

I'd be hurting, I'm certain, I'd be uncool to let you know that you're the one, the fool who jumped the gun.

The club is loud tonight. Music is blaring, strobe lights are flashing, and drinks are limitlessly pouring– but it’s unsurprisingly not crowded given that BigHit Music booked it for the night to celebrate the recently concluded BTS world tour. This celebration is by-invitation and strictly for the artists, dancers, musicians, and staff only.

Taehyung leaned back in his booth, clad casually in jeans, white tee and a brown leather jacket, one elbow propped up against the backrest of his seat as his hand toyed with the lollipop stick between his lips. He’s staring at you from across the room. You’re at the bar sipping on a martini, talking with Jungkook and Jin. No doubt listening to his members’ silly banter and their outrageous style concept suggestions– contradicting ones at that since Jungkook is a fan of all black and Jin is a pink enthusiast. As if feeling his eyes on you, you turned to his direction and met his gaze. Taehyung’s breath hitched and his mind went haywire when you smiled at him but he’s quick to collect himself by raising his pint to you, a nod that you immediately returned by raising your martini glass back to him.

Yoongi has observed the exchange that transpired between his younger member and one of their stylists across the room. They all know you. You’re their team’s chief stylist and always has the last say when it comes to their concept shoots. You’re the one who gives the green light and tells the other junior stylists and make up artists what to do. You’re the reason why they all look jaw-dropping and ridiculously good when it comes to their television stages and concerts. You’re also the reason why Taehyung has permanent twinkly heart eyes and has written more than enough songs to fit into three mixtapes all in one go.

You used to freelance as a style consultant, having clients left and right in the Korean music industry until Hybe offered you a permanent position at BigHit Music as BTS’s Chief Stylist. The full-time job requires you to travel around the world with them, wherever their career takes them. It’s been more than a year since you started working and embarking on a world tour with them and it works both for Hybe and for you since you devote all your time to work. How could you not? You’re single, you have no kids nor pets, you live on your own since you fled from the countryside to pursue your dream in the city, so you’re basically your own person, doing anything and everything you please.

It wasn’t hard to get along with the members of the band that you work with. They’re down to earth- with no air of arrogance despite their success, they’re polite, and they treat everyone around them equally and with respect. They are generous with their compliments and apologies as appropriate. Overtime, you’ve grown more and more comfortable being around them and them with you. It has been a few months, on a specific stop in Japan, since you also started getting entangled into a hot, sexy, and enticing situation with one of them. You’re not dense, you’ve noticed the looks that he’s been giving you. Known as one of the visuals of the group, it’s easy for you to fall into Taehyung’s charms as well. Deep-set eyes, thick brows, chiseled jaws, pink cupid lips, and golden sun-kissed skin– and when he flashes his boxy smile, the world seems to fall perfectly into place. It’s easy to get lost in him. And you did… so you’ll never forget how it started. The simple request of changing his footwear from a pair of sneakers to a pair of comfortable slides led to both of you tearing each other’s clothes off, quietly suppressing your moans inside one of the trailer truck-turned-closet on location.

You are nothing but friends. That much you have established. That much you have talked about. As a member of the biggest band in the world, all eyes are on Taehyung- what he does between schedules, who he’s with, who he’s dating. Oftentimes, delusional people who call themselves as ‘fans,’ pair him up romantically with his members. But you know the truth. Behind the scenes, you all know the truth. You, him and his other members know the truth– that Taehyung relies and turns to you when things get a little bit too much.

Cause I've been advised by other guys you've left behind, your goodbyes are somewhat unrefined.

But if I play my role just right, tonight could be my lucky night and you could be mine.

If I present it to you with a flower in the moonlight, shiny and new.

Well, you couldn't say no tonight, if I keep my heart out of sight.

Unbeknownst to Yoongi, Namjoon also noticed the exchange between you and Taehyung across the room.

“Are you sure you want to do this?” Namjoon asked him while reaching for a curly fry from the bowl in front of them. Taehyung nodded and smirked at his older member. “Well…”

“Hyung, I’m sure,” Taehyung sighed. “I’ve never been more sure,” he chewed on his lower lip before a smile grew from his lips.

“I’m just saying, Taehyung, she’s dated Jackson before,” he caught Taehyung’s gaze before he continued. “It didn’t end well.”

» synopsis:  a haikyuu x reader au where you, the player, are bound for university in a metropolis several hours away from home. hope and excitement are replaced with dread as you come to realize that juggling life as a student and a part-time employee takes a toll. from demanding classes to a ruthless manager, life just can’t seem to give you a break. that is, until you meet a certain someone who reminds you how to live and follow your dreams. somehow, when you’re with them, time stands still. maybe things are finally starting to look up. if only you could stay in those moments for just a little longer.

edit: it’s been brought to my attention that another HQ writer may have written something similar to this idea in the past and I was unaware. I. you can refer here for the general rules of my blog. also, for this event (and it’ll say in the descriptions below), i’m only accepting one character per request. also the word count limits i wrote here may change as im getting started on actually writing requests lol

II. essentially a collection of x reader one-shots, drabbles, and smaus in which you are a busy college student whose only break seems to be spending time with friends who actually get you or the 15-minute lunch break during which you get to ignore annoying customers

III. since this is otome-inspired, i have several options you can choose from. these options are essentially types of requests:

» drabble about how you meet the character of your choice  

» it is not guaranteed y’all are gonna gel (get along) when you first meet,, warning: if the character is usually a bitch, i may write them as one LMAO jkjk but fr

» usually light, fluffy, and/or silly

» hmm tbh,,, idk word count,,, probs anywhere between 700-1k words (i edited this word count after writing my first thing bc HNNN)

» the only characters you can’t request this for is yamaguchi, tsukki n hinata,,, bc you meet them in the prologue AHAHA sry it’s nothing too spaicy since it’s just in the intro

» it’s all in the little things

» one-shots about normal, daily interactions with the character of your choice

» in other words, these include what can go on in a day in the life of y/n and the character of your choice (after they’ve already met). in the city, the possibilities are endless

» give me a word (or several, cuz writing is hard lmao. also legit any word, like ‘orange’ or ‘nostalgia.’ i may choose only one or do a combination from your list :3) as a prompt and ill somehow make something of it lmao

» medium relationship development + exp

» 700-1.5k words

» hmmm what should i get today?

» very short drabble with a character of your choice about various scenarios and thots i have in my head

» a complete surprise, totally random, may have no context

» may be serious, fluff, crack, etc. 

» if u choose this u basically told me ‘surprise me’

» you’d be surprised how much can happen in a day

» spaicy relationship development, the scenes in which you actually make progress in the game

» one-shot with a character of your choice

» order from the following:

» macaron: when they realize they’ve fallen for you

» banana bread: when you realize you’ve fallen for them

» iced americano: when they feel a tinge of jealousy 

» hot chocolate: when they see you crying  

» matcha latte: when they have a longing to be around you

» cupcake: love confession (may be intentional or accidental)

» major relationship development + exp + sometimes confusion

» 1-2k words

» these will probs take me longer

» all good things must come to an end

»  not as angsty as those bolded words above sound,,, unless you want it to be >:)

» drabble or one-shot with a character of your choice. the final interaction before finishing the game

» you have three options: good end (fluffy, romantic & the like), bad end (angst), or crack end (surprise)

IV. this forces me to write one-shots, drabbles, anything but hc’s, and also forces me to limit my word count. that said, this will take me a hot minute, y’all. word counts may change too bc i am,,, indecisive n untalented AHAHA
